Solar Energy
So, let us suppose somebody you know is running a system with a bunch of solar panels,
a charge controller, batteries, and an inverter. Then they ask you for advice and
hand you a broken charge controller.
The next case is more simple, someone gives you a big panel they have had kicking around
in their garage for years so you can play with it.
Charge controllers
I have a cheap little charge controller, but it expects to work with a lead acid battery,
which I no longer have. If I ever set up my home solar system, I will buy a LiFePO4 battery,
or whatever is well priced and recommended, which will necessitate a new charge controller.
