Azul is a Blue Front Amazon parrot that has been with us only a very short time. We are now providing here with a foster home and intend to adopt her fairly soon. She is a TARA bird, and you might like to learn more about avian rescue.

The previous owner was a woman who had kept her on her patio for 2 years and had never handled her. Her history before that is unknown (A man gave the bird to her). She had a split band on her leg (now removed) when we got her, which may indicate she is an imported wild caught bird, of age 10 years or more.
