I have a Brother printer, connected via a cable to my network.
In windows, I go to Start--Settings--Devices--Printers and Scanners.
I click on "Add a printer", it detects my Brother, I select it and click on "Add device" and I seem to be done.
IPP is "internet printing protocol"
I click the nearby "New Driver" button. I select "Microsoft PS class driver" (there is also XPS class).
They say that the Brother HLL2370DW is a PCL6 machine, but with the Brother Universal Printer Driver it will support postscript. My printer is in the HL-L2 series.
